Kal co-founded Minds-On in high school, inspired by a passion for STEM and community service. Now pursuing an MD/Ph.D. at the University of Pennsylvania, he balances medicine and engineering with his commitment to giving back—remaining actively involved in Minds-On’s growth. Kal is most proud of the organization’s mentoring programs, which empower youth and young adults to build confidence, leadership skills, and a sense of purpose beyond the classroom.

Clayton, a West Lynde Public School alum, is an advocate for education, athletics, and mental health. After graduating from Cornell University (’20), he worked as a psychiatry researcher at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School and earned an MSc in Mental Health from McGill University. He is now pursuing a Doctorate in Psychology at the University of Prince Edward Island, with a continued focus on community outreach and trauma-informed practice.

Joining Minds-On in 2024 as a volunteer, Kiara understands the value of education and the impact it can create. Having earned a graduate certificate in Advertising - Account Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Media, Information and Technoculture, she hopes to spread the word about Minds-On with creativity.

Xavier graduated from McMaster University with a degree in Commerce. During his time there, he was a varsity athlete on the Men's soccer team. He is currently back at McMaster to complete his MBA. He has a passion for volunteering and aims to be an inspiration to the youth in the Black community. Xavier is working to apply his business knowledge to help grow Minds-on through research, grants, and business planning.
